New rural team are leaders in their field
Businesses and individuals looking for specialist rural and agricultural advice will be pleased to learn that Moore Blatch solicitors has set up a dedicated team catering specifically for this sector.
The new rural team comprises key members of Moore Blatch personnel including: Julian Parkes, David Charlesworth, Edward Whittington, Karl Cameron and Jessica Tresham, who will work together to provide a comprehensive and tailored service to individuals, families, businesses and institutions.
Moore Blatch partner Julian Parkes comments: “We regularly receive enquiries of a rural and agricultural nature across a range of legal areas and have successfully helped both businesses and individuals in this sector. Developing a specialist team to service this sector is a natural development.”
The team will advise on the sale and purchase of a range of properties including; agricultural land/farms, landed estates, country homes and equine properties. They will also provide specific advice to help settle disputes, put in place farm partnership agreements and advise on tax planning/corporate restructures with many more services available.
Julian continues: “Our aim is to provide a bespoke and holistic service to the rural and agricultural sector bringing together the wide range of legal specialisms we have as a firm.
“All of the members of the team have a genuine enthusiasm and interest in rural and agricultural law. It helps that we all come from farming or country backgrounds, so we are able to understand the underlying issues involved in this sector.”
Members of the Agricultural Law Association, Country Land and Business Association and the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners, the newly formed team has been instrumental in setting up the Agricultural Law Association South Central regional group, which held its inaugural meeting at Sparsholt College earlier this month.
