Whiplash Injuries Claims
"Since the introduction of compulsory seatbelt wearing the most common injury sustained in a road traffic accident is whiplash" Damian Horan, Partner
Whiplash occurs when the soft tissue in the spine is stretched and strained after the body is thrown in a sudden forceful motion. It is commonly associated with sudden deceleration when the body is caught by a seatbelt or the vehicle comes to an abrupt halt as a result of the collision.
The most common complaints are headaches and stiffness to the neck and shoulders/back of the head. Whiplash symptoms normally occur within a few hours/days of the accident but may not be apparent immediately, quite often because the injured party is in shock.
If you or a member of your family has sustained whiplash, we may be able to help you claim compensation.
