“If you have an asbestos related disease you may be able to claim compensation”. Tim Blackwell, Partner

Asbestos related diseases usually result from industrial exposure to asbestos fibres in present or previous employments.  The diseases include:

  • Pleural plaques
  • Pleural thickening and effusions
  • Asbestosis (interstitial fibrosis)
  • Lung cancer
  • Mesothelioma

Clients often discover that they have an asbestos related disease when they are referred to specialists for scans and lung function tests because of shortness of breath and other breathing difficulties.

Members of our industrial disease team would be pleased to discuss whether you have a potential claim.  Please have as much information available as possible as to the exact nature of your condition and about your past occupations and employers.  This discussion would be confidential, free and with no obligation to proceed.
